2020 Macmillan Charity Fund Raising Event - "Brave the Shave"
Held on 26th September 2020 at 2:00pm
The total raised by Haze as at 9:00am on Monday 12th October 2020 was £1,152.50 comprising of
£720 on-line donations + £300 from other sponsors + £132.50 Gift Aid additions.

This is what Haze says about her sponsored head shave.....
Hi everyone - I did a charity fundraiser for Macmillan's last year and raised over £300. I want to do
something this time but due to covid I've decided this is best way to raise as much as possible for shaving my hair
off. Its an amazing charity and needs as much support as possible.
Shaving in memory of all my family and friends who've lost their battle through cancer.

Additional notes about the annual Macmillan event : Each year, at the end of September, the NBCYC
holds a fund raising event to support Macmillan Cancer Care. This is normally a social event held at the club, with
raffles, cake decorating competitions etc. Because of the coronavirus pandemic, the event could not be held as normal
in 2020. Undaunted, Haze volunteered to take part in the Macmillan Cancer Support "Brave the Shave" event on 26th
September 2020 at 2:00pm.
Sunday 20th September : - Haze left sponsor forms in
the signing in hut at the boat club, so please feel free to donate that way rather than on-line, if you prefer.
Friday 25th September : 12 noon - The total comes to
£537.50, comprising £475 + £62.50 Gift Aid + whatever is on the sponsor forms in the signing in hut. Please help Haze
to reach her total of £600 and hopefully more! Many thanks.
Saturday 26th September : 12 noon - The total raised
so far is £600 + Gift Aid + sponsor form donations. Excellent.
Saturday 26th September : 4:30pm - The on-line total
raised is currently £711.25 comprising of £625 donations + £86.25 Gift Aid additions. Excludes donations from other
sources and the sponsor forms in the NBCYC signing in hut.
Saturday 26th September : 9:30pm - The on-line total
raised is currently £748.75 comprising of £655 donations + £93.75 Gift Aid additions. Excludes donations from other
sources and the sponsor forms in the NBCYC signing in hut.
The total raised by Haze as at 6:00pm Monday 5th October 2020 is £1,122.5 comprising of
£690 on-line donations + £300 from other sponsors + £132.50 Gift Aid additions.
